Kia ora, I’m Nicky.

Hailing from the ‘Naki, Nicky has built her career in project management.

“Bringing people together to achieve great outcomes lights my fire.”

In 2016 Nicky decided the time was right to set up Plat4m. As a busy mum, Nicky wanted to create a company that not only served the needs of her clients, but also worked around the needs of her family and those that work alongside her.

Nicky has a strong background in local government, project managing anything from water supply projects, economic development initiatives, funding applications, to district-wide signage installations.  During her time at Beca, Nicky was especially proud to be a key member of the team that delivered the Kapiti Coast District Council Water Supply Project - a multi-million-dollar, three-year, multi-workstream engineering and community consultation project that has contributed to the consistent water supply for the Kapiti community when the rest of the region is on water restrictions.

At Fairway Resolution Limited, Nicky programme managed a national out-of-court family dispute resolution programme including the design and delivery of a mediation system, an electronic system (RMS) to manage cases, a national training programme, and set up of a service desk that went live, on time and on budget.

Nicky’s strength is her ability to develop positive relationships across all aspects of a business and project. She is a trouble-shooter and a problem solver who thrives on finding solutions.

When Nicky is not hard at work at Plat4m she is typically wrangling a family of five, trying to master Seido karate, fill the house with crochet blankets and tend to her much loved, sometimes neglected vegetable and herb garden.
